Missing student's car found 100 miles away

KALAMAZOO A medical student from Kalamazoo has been missing for 11 days.

30-year-old Teleka Patrick was last seen Thursday, Dec. 5th. According to WOOD-TV, she is a first-year medical resident in psychiatry with the Western Michigan University School of Medicine. On Dec. 6th, she never arrived at work.

The day she was reported missing, her car was found 100 miles away along I-94 near Portage, Ind. Some of her belongings were in her car, but not her purse.

She was last seen by a motel clerk in the Portage, asking for directions.

Patrick’s family says she would never disappear without telling someone.

Friends and family are asking for help finding their loved one. They have set up a Facebook page dedicated to the cause.
