Mishawaka, Ind. Police are investigating after an overnight armed home invasion in Mishawaka.

There is conflicting information Wednesday night as to whether or not an arrest had been made.

It happened around 3:50 a.m. on Wednesday, when police were called to the 4000 block of Parkwood Circle.

The victim told police three black males kicked in his door, and were armed with guns. Apparently the three subjects started shooting at him but missed.

While police said there were "numerous" shots fired, they cannot specify exactly how many.

All three fled the scene in an unknown direction. At the time of the incident, there was a man, woman and a six-year-old child in the residence.

Police say the woman is the six-year-old's mother.

At this time there are no reports of injuries from the home invasion. This case remains under investigation. Anyone that has information pertaining to this case is urged to contact the Mishawaka Police Department
