The Mishawaka man charged with murdering his brother and sister-in-law appeared in court Monday.
Steven Clippinger, 41, is accused in the shooting deaths of his brother, Matthew, and Matthew's wife, Lisa, at their home on East Eleventh Street in Mishawaka.
His lawyers requested a continuance, and a new court date is scheduled for early January.
In June, Clippinger said he did not want an attorney and asked for a speedy trial.
Clippinger was convicted of murder in 1990, in connection with the shooting death of Robert Gibson, 66.
Records show he was released from prison in April of 2010.
