From the St. Joseph County Metro Special Operations Section:
MSOS units were conducting an investigation in the 300 Block of E. 13th St in Mishawaka. During the investigation Jean-Paul Dhenin, 39 of O’Brien, Oregon was seen leaving the house.
A traffic stop was conducted on Dhenin where a K-9 officer from MSOS was able to locate approximately 4 pounds of high grade marijuana as well as a large amount of cash.
Through further investigation officers from MSOS were able to secure a search warrant for a room at a local hotel. In this room MSOS discovered more marijuana as well as more US currency.
MSOS officers then returned to 323 E. 13th Street in Mishawaka where additional marijuana as well as more US currency was discovered.
The total of US currency seized was in excess of $33,000.00 with approximately 10 pounds of high grade marijuana taken as well.
MISHAWAKA A St. Joseph County-based drug investigation unit seized a large amount of marijuana and US currency in a bust Thursday evening.
The St. Joseph County Metro Special Operations Section (MSOS) is comprised of officers from South Bend, Mishawaka, and St. Joseph County.
The unit was conducting an investigation in the 300-block of E. 13th Street in Mishawaka when a traffic stop led officers to approximately four pounds of high-grade marijuana and a large amount of cash.
Further searches at a local hotel and a home led police to a total of 10 pounds of marijuana and more than $33,000.
Three males were arrested for dealing and possession of marijuana. One man was also charged with possession of cocaine.

Kyle Kronewitter, male age 29 of Mishawaka for: Dealing Marijuana; Possession of Marijuana; Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
Blake Hansen, male age 22 of Granger for: Dealing Marijuana; Possession of Marijuana.
