Mishawaka Police cite 11 juveniles for curfew violation

From the Mishawaka Police Department:

On Thursday, the Mishawaka Police Department’s uniform division and Street Crimes Unit cracked down on juveniles violating the City of Mishawaka’s curfew ordinance.

Between 11:00 pm and 1:30 am, officers patrolled areas such as Beutter, Hillis Hans, Merrifield and Crawford Parks, the Riverwalk, Bethel College Barbie Creek as well as other areas throughout the city.

Several individuals were stopped and 11 juveniles between 15 and 17 years of age were issued citations for violating the City’s curfew ordinance. Below is a list of areas where citations were given:

Beutter Park: 4
800 block of State St.: 1
Jackson and 6th St.: 1
4th St. and Mill: 1
1300 E Borley: 1
4th St. and Delorenzi: 3

The Mishawaka Police Department plans on continuing the Curfew Violation Initiative to help cut down the number of juveniles violating the City Of Mishawaka curfew ordinance.
