Mishawaka Little League seeking help after vandalism and thefts

The Mishawaka Little League has been victim to several acts of vandalism and theft and is now asking for the public's help to buy new equipment and a security system for the park

Theresa Bridegroom, the league's secretary, says someone burnt down their equipment shed back in October and it is under investigation as an arson. That's in addition to at least 10 other break-ins last fall, a stolen air conditioner from the concession stand last summer, and graffiti they've had to paint over on several occasions.

As a non-profit, Bridegroom says they are seeking donations from community members and businesses. They will be holding their annual fundraiser coming up on March 23 from 5-10 p.m. at 410 Laurel St. in Mishawaka. You can also go to any Teachers Credit Union location and ask to donate to the Mishawaka Little League fund.
