After a meeting with the Mishawaka Park Board, plans to renovate Central Park continue to move forward.
According to Mishawaka’s City Planner Ken Prince, the park would be similar to a play area and connect nicely to the river walk.
The improvements come after the building of the new Center for Hospice Care which is set to be finished this summer.
The park could include a splash pad, new playground equipment, and five more pavilions.
In the past the pavilions have been very popular for families looking for a place to celebrate a birthday party or family reunions.
No word on how much the renovations will cost.
