METAMORA, Mich. A suburban Detroit man has died following an attack by two bull mastiffs as he ran in a Lapeer County village.

WDIV reports Thursday that the two 3-year-old dogs mauled 46-year-old Craig Sytsma Wednesday evening in Metamora, about 45 miles northwest of Detroit.

Sytsma, of Livonia, died from his wounds at a hospital.
