The 25th Annual Michiana Brits British car show showcased cars from across the pond, specifically the jaguar one, two, and three series. Some were from as far back as 1949.
More than a hundred cars were displayed from all across the region, including Chicago, Detroit, and Indianapolis.
There was a little bit of favoritism, however: no American cars were allowed. Awards were given for best in class and best in show.
"They are cars that you can actually work on and fix,” said Larry Palguta, President, Michiana Brits. “I've seen them basically put together with baling wire and duct tape and they still run, unlike today's modern cars where you wouldn't even attempt to work on it."
Every month, about 125 people from the Michiana Brits British car club go on rides and out to dinner to share and discuss their car passions.
