South Bend, Ind. An event to honor the king of pop is going on Sunday evening in South Bend and the hope is that fans will tap into his humanitarian spirit by donating food for needy families.
Performers hit the stage starting at noon and channeled Michael Jackson's dance moves.
The big goal is to collect as much food as possible for the Food Bank of Northern Indiana.
The cost of attending the event was simply donating some food items.
“He said this is why he did music... To bring community together,” explained event organizer T-Swang. “So we want to have free event like this and help good cause. You never know or if you'll in that position so it’s always good to help replenish the food bank.”
