A Royal Center man was sentenced Thursday after throwing ammonia at a Pulaski County police officer last June.
According to reporting partner WKVI Paul Burke pleaded guilty to a charge of attempted aggravated battery.
He was sentenced to 10 years in the Indiana Department of Corrections.
He will serve six years on good time credit and four on probation.
