Indiana--- One man is riding horseback across America to spread hope and inspiration to the American public.
Samuel Hopkins-Hubbard, 52, of Milton-Freewater, Oregon, is a business owner and captain of the local fire station.
However, he left all of that behind to pursue a dream he had of reaching the Atlantic Ocean on horseback.
Along the way he is letting Americans know that there still is hope, and that we can all be proud of the freedoms we enjoy.
"The United States of America needs hope for the future," said Hubbard.
On average he travels about 20 miles a day.
He started his journey in April and plans to finish in September.
He is currently traveling down U.S. 30 and plans to reach Fort Wayne by June 30.
