Man quickly apprehended after Popeye's armed robbery

A South Bend man was quickly apprehended after police say he robbed a fast food restaurant at gunpoint.

It happened at Popeye’s Chicken in the 2600 block of Lincolnway West.

Only minutes after being dispatched, officers found a male suspect along with evidence. The man was booked at the St. Joseph County Jail, however his name is not yet being released.
