Man hit months ago by SBCSC school bus dies
The man who was hit by a South Bend Community School Corporation bus last fall died last night.
Kenneth Reynolds, 59, of South Bend was hit while he was crossing the street at Portage and Elwood, back in November.
The accident occurred during dark and rainy conditions.
After the accident, Reynolds was conscious and talking when he was taken to the hospital.
But according to a friend, Reynolds later needed surgery due to bleeding on the brain, and was listed in critical condition.
Police say Reynolds had other health conditions that were complicated by the accident.
