Man dies in boating accident on Lake Latonka

A boating accident ended fatally for one man on Sunday.

61-year-old Roger Martin died when he was run over by a boat on Lake Latonka southwest of Plymouth.

Police say the family of the victim was pulling tubers on the lake around 4:15 yesterday. They were circling around to pick up a tuber who had fallen in the water when martin fell overboard and was hit by a moving propeller.

He died on the scene. No one else was injured.

Investigators are now awaiting toxicology results to see if alcohol was a factor.
