A man wanted in connection with a bank robbery last week in South Bend, is now behind bars in Berrien County.
Last Thursday, someone held-up the Fifth Third Bank downtown in the 300-block of North Main Street. Police say the suspect walked into the bank, pulled out a pistol and demanded money. He ran off with some cash.
In a message posted this afternoon via Twitter, South Bend Police say the suspect in that robbery is now in custody for "unrelated charges."
Lorenzo Coben, 32, was arrested for fleeing and eluding police after fleeing officers to Michigan. He's currently being held in the Berrien County Jail.
