A 21-year-old man was airlifted to the hospital after a crash early Sunday morning.
It happened on County Road 33 north of County Road 50.
Elkhart County Police say 21-year-old Daniel Slone was traveling south on County Road 33 when he went left of center.
Slone's vehicle hit the vehicle driven by 59-year-old Stanley Pender of Syracuse, who was headed northbound on County Road 33.
Slone was airlifted to a Fort Wayne hospital for non-incapacitating lower extremity injuries. Pender complained of right wrist pain and knee pain. He was taken to IU Health Goshen by ambulance.
Slone was cited for a learner permit violation and driving left of center.
