Tuesday marks the 11th Anniversary of the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center, and several local organizations are paying tribute to the victims of the attacks.
The South Bend Fire Department will hold a Memorial Service Tuesday morning at 8:30.
The program is at Seitz Park at the East Race Waterway.
They will pause for a moment of silence at 8:46, the time that the first plane hit the first tower.
Mayor Pete Buttigieg will be at the memorial.
And Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center is hosting a Prayer and Remembrance Ceremony to honor those who gave their lives.
The greater Michiana area is invited to attend.
That program will be held at the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center World Trade Center Memorial, that's in the main lobby of the hospital.
