Kids throughout Elkhart County took a stand Saturday, literally.
They were taking part in National Lemonade Day. It’s a nationwide movement teaching kids how to start and operate their own businesses.
Those involved spent the last few months creating business plans. The plan contained information like how much should be charged per glass of lemonade and how they should go about promoting their stands.
National Lemonade Day is held the first Sunday in May.
Around a million kids take part in the program nationally.
