As the hot and dry weather continues throughout the area, Kosciusko County's burn ban will remain in effect.
The County's Board of Commissioners voted to extend the countywide ban through the end of the month. It is now set to expire on July 31.
In light of the ongoing drought conditions, all of Michiana's counties, except Pulaski, currently have open burning bans in place.
