A North Manchester man is behind bars after officers caught him breaking into his ex-girlfriend's Kosciusko County home with a gun.
Monday, police were called to the 6500 block of East Pierceton Road. That's where they found a shattered door, and 38-year-old Troy Frieden leaving the house, covered in blood. Frieden was held at gunpoint and taken into custody.
Police say Frieden had two handguns on him. He allegedly broke into the home and sliced his hand in the process.
Once inside, he reportedly fired shots at his ex-girlfriend's car and went looking for her, but she was not home at the time.
Frieden is being held on charges of Felony Burglary with a Deadly Weapon, Intimidation with a Firearm and Criminal Recklessness.
