Emergency crews responded to a bus accident this morning in downtown Knox.

Fifteen students were treated at a local hospital for minor bumps and bruises before being released. Two adults are still being treated.

The crash happened at the intersection of U.S. 35 and Lake Street, when A Head Start bus and a commercial flatbed truck collided.

Witnesses at the scene say the driver of the truck may have run a red light.
