MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Some of the best food in Mishawaka was served up Wednesday on Kamm Island.

It was the 11th annual Kamm Island Festival, an adult-only event.

It offers music, food, and drinks, along with a car show and art fair.

For the first time, there was also motorcycle show.

“It's usually people our age who are going to a car show,”Sandy Snyder said. “But I've noticed a lot of younger people here tonight, and that is exciting to us. It seems like the next generation isn't into cars like that. Maybe this sparks the interest again.”

Many businesses use the popular festival to give people a sample of their menus, in hopes of bringing more people to princess city restaurants throughout the year.
