SOUTH BEND, Ind.--- Some local students are showing others just how high they can jump.

The "Jumpin' Eagles" Jump Rope Team traveled to several local schools today to perform.

The team features everyone from first to eighth graders and is based out of Elm Road Elementary School.

The students say it's a great way to promote fitness, as well as meet some new friends.

“It is fun learning new things and you get to meet new people and it's just really fun,” said Grace Selis, a fifth grader

The students made stops at Bittersweet Elementary, Harrison Primary and St. Anthony's.
