Judge grants trial continuance for woman charged with Voluntary Manslaughter

A judge has granted a trial continuance for a woman charged with Voluntary Manslaughter.

Joilise Crossley, 20, appeared in court Monday morning, and was granted the continuance.

Her trial which was to begin August 25 has now been moved to November 10, with a record date being held on October 27.

Crossley was charged on March 28, 2014, with Voluntary Manslaughter, a Class A Felony in the death of Tyrone Kelly.

Crossley was also charged with two counts of Criminal Recklessness, each a Class C Felony, for recklessly inflicting bodily injury upon both David Cross and Jerry Wright while armed with a deadly weapon, a handgun.
