INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.-- It's a big night for one Hoosier as he finds out if he stays or goes on in the singing competition, "The Voice."
Josh Kaufman is one of the eight remaining singers hoping to snag top honors this season.
He currently lives in Indianapolis with his family.
He supports his wife and three kids by playing gigs throughout the city and working as an SAT prep tutor.
Kaufman says one of the best parts about this experience is the chance to connect with so many new and different people.
“What's been the best is just the responses I've gotten from people and the messages people send me, like the way they've connected with me,” said Kaufman. “Or what a song has meant to them. To be able to connect with that many people on this kind of stage, that's all you want to be able to do as an artist. That has been amazing.”
You can follow Kaufman’s journey by following him on twitter. His handle is "I am Josh Kaufman."
