A decades long tradition at the Indy 500 ended on Sunday.
Jim Nabors sang Back Home Again Indiana one last time.
The actor's baritone voice has been a tradition at the 500 since 1972.
It started by accident when he showed up at the track to sing the national anthem during the 500's opening ceremonies, but instead, was told to sing the unofficial Hoosier Anthem.
Nabors will turn 84 next week and now lives in Hawaii.
He says he hopes the tradition carries on through voices of the fans.
