Investigation continues in fatal cabin fire

The investigation continues into what started a fire that killed a 5-year-old boy and a 56-year-old man.

A fire that claimed the lives of an Indianapolis man and his 5-year-old step-grandson broke out about 4:30 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014, at a three-story cabin in Sevierville, Tenn., officials said. SEVIERVILLE, Tenn.--- The investigation continues into what started a fire that killed a 5-year-old boy and a 56-year-old man.

The fire started early Saturday morning at a rental cabin outside of the Smokey Mountains where 22 people from Kentucky and Indiana were staying.

Ricky Hudson, 56, of Indianapolis died at a hospital after suffering severe cuts from breaking a window trying to save others.

The remains of Tayveon Temple, 5, have not yet been found.

The Tennessee Fire Marshal's Office has taken over the investigation.
