Police are searching for suspects after several ice sculptures in downtown Goshen were destroyed by vandals, according to reporting partners at the Elkhart Truth.

The carvings were created during the Goshen Fire and Ice Festival this past weekend, and were damaged sometime between Friday and Monday.

Investigators say someone smashed and destroyed "a significant number of the downtown sculptures," including the winning piece from the competition, valued at more than $500.

The city of Goshen and Downtown Goshen Inc. are offering a $500 reward for information that could lead to the arrest of the vandal or vandals.

Anyone with information about the crime should call the Goshen Police Department during regular business hours at 574-533-8661.
