It was all about the mustache at Indiana University-South Bend’s school of medicine Monday night. The American Medical Women's Association held its 3rd Annual Stash Bash.
Medical students have been growing their moustaches since mid-October, and one was crowned king Monday night.
All proceeds benefit St. Margaret's House. The Moustache King is the student or faculty who raised the most money on behalf of the charity.
“It feels awesome. The whole purpose of stash bash is to serve and to give back and just to see the community involvement and their response to our event is just really humbling and awesome,” said Michelle Kerr, President, American Medical Women's Association
The students raised over $3,600.
