Police are searching statewide for the driver who hit an INDOT worker, and then drove away.
It happened just before 1 a.m. Thursday on I-70 near Indianapolis.
Terrance Abernathy, 23, was working in a construction zone when a blue SUV hit his left arm.
Abernathy was transported to an area clinic, where he was checked for minor injuries.
The SUV lost its driver-side mirror in the accident.
Police do not have a description of the driver.
