The Elkhart County Sheriff's Department has wrapped up its investigation of the hit-and-run accident two months ago that left a Middlebury teen seriously injured.
They have handed the case over to the prosecutor's office for review.
Zion Carlstrom, 17 was riding her bike along County Rd. 35 in July, when a car hit her from behind.
The driver, Pasquale Rulli, 26 left the scene, but later turned himself in.
Carlstrom was airlifted to Memorial Hospital, where she was in critical condition, but has since been moved to a rehab facility in Indianapolis, where her family says she's making a remarkable recovery.
