Historic Elkhart mansion gets Christmas makeover

The Ruthmere mansion home in Elkhart has begun holiday tours for the public. This year's theme is The 12 Days of Christmas.

Each room in the historic mansion is decorated to fit one of the 12 days, and organizers have created an interactive way to get folks of all ages interested in the tour, including children.

A team of volunteers helped replicate the famous song throughout the 12,000 square foot home. And a new addition of almost 2,500 square feet will be included in the tour.
