The man who struck and killed an Elkhart County bicyclist in June has pleaded guilty.
Kevin Meyer, 19, said he failed to stop after the accident that resulted in death, according to reporting partners at the Elkhart Truth.
The crash happened along County Road 17, at the U.S. 20 Bypass bridge.
Raymundo Sabag, 60, was riding his bicycle when he was struck by Meyer, who was on his way to work.
He went to police and told them he panicked, and fled the scene. He was arrested two months later.
Meyer could face four years in prison. Sentencing is scheduled for January 7.
