'Greatest Chef of Michiana' competition raises $300K for YMCA

The Greatest Chef of Michiana competition was held Saturday and the winner was Café Navarre.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. The Greatest Chef of Michiana competition was held Saturday and the winner was Café Navarre.

Eleven top chefs from renown local restaurants competed for the title of Greatest Chef of Michiana 2014.

Chris and Carmi Murphy were the celebrity sponsors.

Café Navarre got more than 1,100 votes.

The event raised about $300,000 for the YMCA.

LaSalle Grill came in second place.
