A Goshen painter says a portrait she painted of talk show host Ellen Degeneres was stolen.

According to our reporting partners at the Elkhart Truth, 91 year-old Frances Peers spent more than a month working on the painting.

She then mailed the portrait to the show’s Burbank, California studio but Peers never heard back.

But recently, Peers was watching “The Ellen Show” from a hospital bed and saw an unidentified female guest taking credit for her work.

Peers has tried to get in touch with show producers to address the issue, but she has yet to hear back.
