Goshen, Ind. A Goshen man will spend the next three decades behind bars after he was found with more than $150,000 worth of cocaine during a raid earlier this year.
According to our reporting partners at the Elkhart Truth, 32-year-old Martin Garcia-Rodriguez was sentenced Wednesday to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to dealing cocaine.
He was arrested back in March after Elkhart County ICE searched his house in the 2600 block of South Main Street.
The warrant was issued after a two-month undercover investigation into illegal drug trafficking at the home.
The raid yielded around 140 grams of powder cocaine with an estimated street value of $154,000, along with $8,500 in cash.
During Wednesday's sentencing hearing, a judge said Garcia-Rodriguez would be subject to deportation, since he appears to be living in the country illegally.
