STARKE COUNTY With the help of good samaritans, a woman was saved from a vehicle that flipped over in a water-filled ditch.

WKVI reports that a Starke County officer came up on the car Tuesday morning and heard the woman screaming. She was trapped inside the upside down car, by her seat belt.

The officer wasn't able to open the doors because of the water, but four other drivers stopped to help. One was able to break out the window. Another had a knife to cut the seat belt.

The woman was treated for minor injuries at a nearby hospital.
