Gas leak contained in Fulton County

Emergency crews were on the scene of a large gas leak earlier Saturday in Fulton County.
It happened around 11:40 in the area of 750 West between 400 North and Railroad Street in Leiters Ford that's just northwest of Rochester.
Officials evacuated nearby homes and businesses and sent out an alert telling folks to avoid the area.
Dispatchers tell us Nipsco crews capped the leak and everyone was allowed back inside within the hour.
