Former Notre Dame All-American Mirko Jurkovic was laid to rest Saturday.
The funeral procession for the beloved former Irish Football player made a special trip around campus where he was buried on Notre Dame's campus. Many of his former teammates were in attendance.
Mirko, who played for Notre Dame's 1988 National Championship Team, lost his long battle with colon cancer on Wednesday. He was just 42 years old.
