Benton Harbor A community is coming together Sunday to raise money for a family displaced by fire

Keone Goss and her 6 kids escaped the blaze in their apartment on Council Court In Benton Harbor Yuesday.

Fortunately, no one was hurt, but all their possessions were lost.

The Red Cross provided money for a hotel for the family up to Friday, according to our reporting partners at the Herald Palladium.

And now, community members are hosting a concert at the Word of Truth church on Pipestone Road, to continue to provide support.

They’re collecting donations, gift cards, and clothing for Goss' children, ages 3 to 10.

The benefit starts today at 5 p.m.
