Free haircuts for Veterans Day

A local business is offering some free pampering for current military, vets and their families - free hair cuts November 6 and 7, in honor of Veteran’s Day.
Regency Beauty Institute wants to give back to the men who have given so much to their country.
“They don't have all the comforts of home that we do, so when it's holiday time, for them to have a few extra things really means a lot," Assistant Director Susi Coppins says.
They are also collecting items to send to the troop. The following is a list of items you can donate:
- Baby wipes
- Snack/ meal bars
- Gatorade or powder packets
- Dried fruit and nuts
- DVD's
- Lip balm
- Personal toiletries
They are collecting at 4150 Grape Road in Mishawaka through November 7. The free hair cut events runs from 9a.m. to 3p.m. both Tuesday and Wednesday.
