Four people arrested for day-time burglary

Four people, including two adults and two children, were arrested for their alleged involvement in a recent daytime home burglary in Kosciusko County.

The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Detectives staked out a residence on the 9000 block of Excalibur Place in Cromwell on Wednesday morning in an attempt to locate potential burglary suspects. The officers confronted Samantha Jo Rash, 18, as she left the home. Rash then led officers into the house where they located Stephen Possell, 18, of Syracuse who is also believed to be involved in the burglaries.

The pair was then taken to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department where they admitted to burglarizing Possell’s parent’s house in the Fox Run Addition in Syracuse on December 14th.

Possell, who no longer lives with his parents, entered the home with Rash and two underage men, and stole various items including an I-Pad, television, Blue Ray recorder, and an I-Pod.

Both Possell and Rash are being preliminarily charged with felony burglary and theft, and are being held on individual bonds of $10,000.
