Former state representative Lad Stacey will be remembered in services this week after he passed away at his home in Berrien Springs on Saturday.

BERRIEN SPRINGS, Mich. Former state representative Lad Stacey will be remembered in services this week after he passed away at his home in Berrien Springs on Saturday.

Stacey lived to be 87 and was known for his lifetime of public service.

He was in the Air Force during WWII and served as a state representative for 12 years, ending in 1990.

The photo to the right shows him with his son-in-law, state representative Dave Pagel.

Funeral services will be held this Friday at 11 a.m. at the Berrien Springs United Methodist Church, where Stacey was a member.
