Firefighters were called to the scene of a blaze at a home in the 1500 block of Renfrew Dr. near York road on the south side of South Bend.
South Bend Fire Department Battalion Chief David Maenhout says everyone got out of the house and that it appears that the fire may have started somewhere in the garage.
There is still no word on what caused the blaze.
