If you thought driving to work was rough in this messy weather, imagine fighting a fire.
Crews were called out around 8 a.m. Monday to a house at Huey and Kenwood in South Bend. Firefighters tell us the blaze started in the back of the house but they do not know a cause yet.
Fortunately no one was home, but several pet cats were inside. Only a handful made it out.
