Final Four game brings low turnout locally

The excitement of Muffet's squad in the Final Four brought out a smaller crowd Sunday.

The night started off pretty quiet as Irish fans slowly made their way out to support the women’s basketball team face UConn for the 4th time this season.

Local businesses had about 30 reservations but expected a more people throughout the night.

As for those either underage or not feeling a night on the town, the university held its first women’s basketball game watch party of the year.

The night ended in a loss for the Irish 83 to 65.
