Federal Mogul Plant donates money to three charities

It wasn't about having a large Christmas party this year. The employees at the Federal Mogul Plant in South Bend wanted to give food for the soul.

Tuesday morning, those at the plant gave a $3,000 donation to three charities, The Ronald McDonald House, The Center for the Homeless, and The Make a Wish Foundation.

The money was raised after dozens of employees produced a cookbook with their favorite recipes.

“It felt so good and I think all the girls they worked so hard and we came on our days off and it's going to make a difference for someone,” says Deborah Alexander of Federal Mogul South Bend.

The group started the project six months ago. The money was distributed evenly between all three charities.
