Tuesday is a celebratory day for many in South Bend, and all across the country, as folks prepare for a day of indulgence.
Fat Tuesday, as it's lovingly known, is the day before the season of Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, and also Mardi Gras.
One way to celebrate is with a popular treat, the paczki. Newscenter 16 stopped by Dainty Maid in South Bend Tuesday morning, where lines were already starting even before the bakery opened at 6 a.m.
