Although their season just ended the Silver Hawks are already making plans for improvements for next season.
Tuesday night the team's president and owner held a town hall meeting to get feedback from fans about the improvements made this year.
“This group here is genuinely concerned about having people come out and have a great time at their ball park,” says season ticket holder Stephen Ross. “If they happen to watch a ball game in the process, it's icing on the cake.”
Overall many of the comments were very positive. Ticket sales have increased and more families are attending.
Some of the suggestions made at the meeting include balancing the PA or audio system, providing more replays, showing the game on TVs in the concourse, and better service at the concession stands.
“It's more than just building. You have to deliver on the promise of the service, the experience, the quality of the food, creating an intimate space where people are treated like guests,” says Silver Hawks owner, Andrew Berlin. “It’s much harder to do than just building a stadium.”
Some attractions that will be back next year are the inflatables, splash pad, flat screen, give aways, and big firework displays.
Also the owner says he plans to continue to invest in the Cove and will add another small screen scoreboard.
